This semester, I have been working with a Large Format Camera and experimenting with different photography genres. As the semester was coming to an end, I wanted my final project to be something personal and meaningful. Additionally, my sister's birthday was in December, so I decided to dedicate the project to her. Her name means "Pearl,"
so I wanted to create something that would reference December. I had the model wear Anastasia's necklace from the movie, which is one of her favorites, and it was inspired by the song "Once Upon a December."
and about the fishing net, elder women in our culture used to cover half of their faces like that, currently I'm working on a series that called " Ghishwah - غشوه " and I wanted to do a version of it and include it to this project.
